Marit reads every message. In season you will hear back within three working days; from mid October to the end of April, about once a week.

The nursery is a leased half acre at the edge of Portland, Maine. Directions to the gate are sent with each confirmed order rather than printed here, so that people arrive on an open day.
Closed to visitors from mid October to the end of April. The opening dates and what is ready each month are on the season page.
What to include
What Helps Us Answer Quickly
A plant order
The plants and pot sizes from the stock list, and whether you will collect or want the Friday van. For the van, give the town.
A pre-order
The same, plus the week you would like to collect. Pre-orders open on 1 February and are held at the gate for 14 days after that week.
A planting enquiry
Roughly how big the space is, which way it faces, what grows there now and two or three midday photos. How a job runs is on the planting page.
